Coleen Rooney 'says goodbye' to Wayne after trip to US

Coleen Rooney has bid farewell to her husband Wayne after a family trip to the USA.

Coleen flew out with her children to meet Wayne who is currently working in Washington after landing a job as the new coach of MLS team DC United. The family have spent time sightseeing in Washington and New York, including visits to Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.

Coleen has shared snaps of the family's holiday on Instagram as they posed for pictures in front of the Whitehouse and during a day out at the beach. The mum-of-four is now set to return home to the UK with sons Kai, 12, Klay, eight, Kit, six, and Cass, three.

Former Everton FC striker Wayne first joined DC United in 2018. There were rumours Coleen and their four children would be remaining in the UK at the time.

Coleen refuted the claims with a tweet in July 2018. She said: "Wishing our Daddy and my Wayne all the luck, happiness and success in America!!! It’s a move we are going to do as a family."

But it remains to be seen whether they will make the move again this time around.
