Pancake Day didn’t quite go to plan in the Rooney household as the whole family got involved in flipping for Shrove Tuesday.
Coleen Rooney revealed that son Kit, 7, burst into tears during a chaotic morning making pancakes.
The mum-of-four did her best to make the day as fun as possible for her offspring but it wasn’t smooth sailing – as is often the way with little ones.
Coleen, 36, took to Instagram to share a video of her and her boys making and flipping pancakes this morning, with eldest son Kai, 13, taking the lead and dominating the stove.
The youngsters and their mum took turns to be filmed flipping their creations, with a pyjama-clad Coleen showing off her expert toss.
Little Cass, five, beamed as he took his turn with a little help from his doting mum.
But seven-year-old Kit was not amused as he burst into tears in the hilarious video shared by the star.
Sharing a glimpse into how normal their family life is, Coleen was seen carrying the pan over to Kit for him to have his turn.
The clip then showed the youngster storm closer to the well-stocked fridge before bursting into tears and wailing as the person holding the camera zoomed in on his face.
Kit had clearly had enough of the festivities as he was then seen stomping out of the room, making his big feelings known.
Coleen captioned the post: "Happy Pancake Day. It wasn’t a very happy one in our house this morning," as she added a laughing-crying emoji."
Coleen and her footballer husband Wayne are parents to Kai, 13, Klay, nine, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.
Her famous pals and followers took to the comments to praise her for showing an insight into the family’s very-normal life.
Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent, who is herself a mother to two sons, commented with a number of laughing emojis, as she wrote: "It doesn’t get any better then HahHaha." [sic]
A fan penned: "Love this lol I remember the days my kids used to flow the tears lol so funny now they are older and have kids of their own."
"Love this it’s called a normal household with kids," a second wrote.
A third wrote: "That’s tickled me just like my house when my children were little."
