Coleen Rooney could be looking at “another crisis” just days after her historic Wagatha Christie case against Rebekah Vardy.
After the seven-day trial in which Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in Coleen's favour, she says that she was pleased with the judgement and bears no ill will to Rebekah. But now there is another bump in the road for the 36-year-old WAG.
Coleen will be separated from her husband, Wayne Rooney, as he travels to the US for his role as D.C United football manager, reports the Mirror. She is reportedly 'torn up' about the prospect of months apart.
The two - who have been in a relationship since they were 16 - have been seen together throughout each day of the court case and are said to be closer than ever. Coleen even reportedly wants to renew her wedding vows with Wayne - who she considers her “rock”.
Coleen said on an Instagram post that "It was not a case I ever sought or wanted," and will no doubt have wanted to return to her normal life. That may not be the case, however, with the Rooneys possibly apart until Christmas.
The ex England star will be commencing his role as manager for US football club D.C United and may possibly pick up a pundit job at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
A source told Closer magazine : “Coleen is torn over the fact Wayne could be heading to Qatar in December.
“She was counting down the days until the season ended in America so she could get Wayne back as he’ll be away again for weeks. So it’s just another new crisis.”
However, the Rooneys know the World Cup job would be a huge step up in Wayne’s career and any deal he signs with either ITV or BBC – who are said to be in a “tug-of-war” over him – would be extremely lucrative. The couple are parents to four boys – Kai, 12, Klay, nine, Kit, six, and four-year-old Cass.
If Wayne was to land a deal with a major TV network it means he would finish the US football season in November before flying to the Middle East for the World Cup launch in November. This means it’s unlikely he will be home for six months, returning just a week before Christmas.
Coleen and the boys have relocated to America in the past when Wayne played for the DC club he is now managing. But the family won’t be keen to do that again as Coleen admitted she felt so homesick she “cried every night” while she was there.
