Coleen Rooney discusses her and Wayne’s decision to not have more children

Coleen Rooney has spoken candidly about her and husband Wayne’s decision not have more children.

The businesswoman, 37, and former England captain, 38, are proud parents to sons Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.

She recently revealed that Wayne underwent a vasectomy following their youngest son’s birth in 2018.

Appearing on the latest episode of Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, the My Account author said that originally it had been their intention to stop after three kids.

She said: “I always wanted to have three children. I don't know whether that was because I was one of three, then obviously, we got [adopted sister] Rosie.

"But I was set on three. And I think because I had the boys quite young. I felt like I had more time to go on and I would probably end up having another one.

“So we sat down and talked and obviously we asked each other and I said I probably [I] will go on and want another one. So then we decided to do it sooner than later, I think you know, and have them all together and not too much of a gap.

“And then once Cas come along, we knew that was it.”

She went on to explain that her reasoning was although she could have had more, she felt she couldn’t devote enough time to further offspring.

“And it's not the caring for, I could look after loads of kids. Its the attention. I can't give them that individual. And I like to make sure that they've got my time.
