Coleen Rooney breaks cover shortly before bombshell Wagatha Christie verdict

Coleen Rooney has been pictured looking deep in thought as she braces herself for the verdict of the Wagatha Christie trial, which is set to be handed down today.

Wayne Rooney's wife was photographed inside a car as she prepares to find out if she has won or lost the libel trail against Rebekah Vardy.

The 36-year-old was seen behind the wheel of the car while out and about ahead of the verdict.

Coleen looked focussed as she was seen wearing a patterned top. She had her hair tied back and a small amount of makeup on for the outing.

The verdict comes after a seven day long trial, which took place in the High Court in London in May.

Both Coleen and Rebekah, 40, attended the court accompanied by their husbands Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy during the trial.

However, the pair are not required to attend court for the verdict, which is being handed down remotely by Mrs Justice Steyn.

It is thought the verdict of the libel trial between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney, dubbed Wagatha Christie, will only be given to the parties minutes before it is made public due to fears of the result being leaked.

It is understood both parties will get the result minutes before it is made public, allowing them time to prepare their statements.

Coleen is reportedly feeling "supremely confident" that she has "already won", despite the verdict.

Wayne Rooney's wife is said to have told friends in private: "Whatever the judge decides, I've already won."

A source close to the mum-of-four told The Sun: "She believes the evidence presented before the court has proved her case that Becky knew about leaks to the Press – and approved them."

It isn't just the WAGs eagerly awaiting the verdict as social media users are preparing for the conclusion of the Wagatha Christie saga – with even celebrities sharing their excitement ahead of the judgment.

"If you have lunch plans today, cancel them. Wagatha Christie verdict due 12pm sharp," former Love Island star Georgia Townsend urged her Twitter followers this morning.

"Last episode of Neighbours AND the Wagatha Christie verdict?! Friday you are spoiling us," another Twitter user mused, with a third adding: "Gaga day and new Beyoncé, Wagatha Christie verdict later, sun is shining, it doesn’t get better than this."

Coleen is being sued by Rebekah for libel after she shared a statement on her social media pages, alleging the Dancing on Ice star's Instagram account had leaked stories from Coleen's private Instagram account to the tabloids.

The WAG explained in the post how she had set up a plan to discover who had been leaking stories to the press from her private Instagram account by planting fake stories.

She wrote: ""Over the past five months I have posted a series of false stories if they made their way into the Sun newspaper. And you know what, they did! The story about gender selection in Mexico, the story about returning to TV and then the latest story about the basement flooding in my new house."

In the post, she added: "It’s been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all, especially when the stories have been leaked, however I had to. Now I know for certain which account/individual it’s come from.

"I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s…… Rebekah Vardy’s account."

Rebekah vehemently denies the claims made by Coleen.
