Coleen Rooney and her four sons have taken a "quick visit" to see Wayne Rooney in America.
Wayne is currently in Washington, after landing a job as the new coach of MLS team DC United. Coleen has recently endured a "stressful" period after the Wagatha Christie case.
Coleen said husband Wayne was her "rock" during the high profile court case. The couple, both 36 who have been together since they were 16, are said to be “closer than ever” following the court case, which saw Wayne accompany Coleen every day during the High Court battle .

Now Coleen and sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, have travelled to the US to visit him. Snaps shared on Instagram show Coleen and her family in Washington and in New York.
One photo, shared to the 36-year-old's Instagram stories, showed the family of six in front of the Statue of Liberty. Coleen posted a gif over the image which read: "Love my family". Other images feature the Rooney's outside the Whitehouse and in Times Square.
Former Everton FC striker Wayne first joined DC United in 2018. There were rumours Coleen and their four children would be remaining in the UK at the time.
Coleen refuted the claims with a tweet in July 2018. She said: "Wishing our Daddy and my Wayne all the luck, happiness and success in America!!! It’s a move we are going to do as a family."
But it remains to be seen whether they will make the move again this time around. Coleen's texts with Rebekah Vardy were released during the high-profile Wagatha Christie libel trial.
The two were friends back in 2018 when Coleen said she found her time in America tough. She said: "Hiya, hope your all week [well]. We’re ok thanks its tough being on your own though."
She added: "Washington isn’t the best....nice to visit but different to live. Not loads for the kids to do, mostly park, hardly any soft plays and things like that. It’s quite behind the UK, which I never would have thought. But we will get used to it (I hope).
"Wayne is loving it, and the kids are fine, settled into school straight away. So really happy they are fine. Thanks for the message love xx."
