Coleen Nolan has revealed her daughter told her not to 'settle' for her new boyfriend, who she met on Tinder.
The Loose Women star, 56, met Michael Jones on the dating app in June and gave her first interview with the 57-year-old this week.
According to Coleen, the logistics specialist makes her feel "calm" and 'happy', but her daughter Ciara had doubts about the match to begin with.
Coleen has sons Shane Jr, 33, and Jake, 29, from her first marriage to EastEnders star Shane Richie, and 20-year-old Ciara from her second marriage to Ray Fensome.
Speaking about her daughter's concerns, the presenter said: "She was worried that I was getting into a relationship because I felt like it was my last chance.
"She said, 'you say nobody’s ever looked at you like Michael, but there’s loads out there that would do that so don’t just settle for the first one'.
However Coleen explained that she told her daughter nothing could be further from the truth, reports OK!
The presenter revealed that Ciara "told us off" after which the mum-of-three 'sobbed her heart out in the bedroom'.
Coleen explained that she "felt bad" and "a bit angry" at her daughter's reaction, before adding that she suffered from "mum guilt."
She explained: "I thought, hold on a minute! For the whole lockdown I’ve lived with all three of my kids and their partners and they all go off together for walks or off to bed and I just thought, give me a break!"
Coleen said she felt Ciara's reaction was a bit "selfish kid syndrome" and that while she didn't want her to feel "sad or put out", she wants to enjoy her time with Michael.
Michael has a 20-year-old son Nico from a previous relationship of his own, while his own past marriage ended when he was in his 30s.
Referring to the incident with Ciara he said Coleen's kids were just getting to know him.
However the Nolan Sister said: "Ciara completely bullies Michael! He took it really well actually. I think anyone else would have gone, 'your daughter’s a b****!'"
In terms of the star's sons, Coleen said they were a lot more 'chilled out' about the situation.
She explained that Shane is "laid back" while Jake is "more philosophical", admitting that Ciara is the "most protective".
