Coleen Nolan interrupts Loose Women to speak out on ITV co-star seconds into show

Coleen Nolan spoke out against one of her Loose Women co-stars on Monday's show, as she interrupted host Ruth Langford moments into the live broadcast to get something off her chest.

Half an hour after Ruth had appeared on This Morning to tease what was coming up on the first episode of the week, with some ITV viewers accusing her of making a subtle dig at Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, cameras started rolling as Coleen and Ruth were joined by Loose Women colleagues Brenda Edwards and Kelly Holmes in the studio.

And it was Kelly's behaviour that Coleen appeared to take exception to, as she stopped Ruth in her tracks to say: "Before any of that, can I just interject?" before joking: "Look at me with my big words!"

After Ruth gave her permission to continue, Coleen continued: "Can we just acknowledge Dame Kelly Holmes here on my left, who is getting right on my nerves! Because, I'm watching you on social media, you've just won ANOTHER award...it's annoying!"

She added: "You're going to need a new house ro put all your awards in!"

Coleen's playful digs at Kelly came as many viewers on Twitter were still talking about how 'delighted' they thought Ruth looked during her brief appearance on This Morning, as she told replacement hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary it was 'nice to see them'.

Ruth also joked she needed the remedy Alison and Dermot had just been talking about on This Morning for under her eyes, prompting one viewer to tweet: "Ruth has got tired eyes because she’s been up all night celebrating Philip Schofield’s demise," with a second quipping: "Ruth’s looking rather Joyous."
