The Loose Women discussed Coleen Rooney deciding to forgive husband Wayne Rooney's infidelities on Wednesday's show.
And during the chat, the panel - Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Carol McGiffin and Linda Robson - shared their opinions on if a woman should forgive a cheating spouse.
They also talked about the judging women who stick with their husbands after betrayal.
Former pop star Coleen, who has talked publicly about being cheated on by ex-husband Shane Richie, then explained how she no longer "feels sorry or angry" for WAG Coleen.
She told how after the first time she felt bad for the Liverpudlian but then when it happened more than once and Coleen decided to stay with Wayne that she understood it was her decision.
Coleen added that people never know what goes on between couples behind closed doors and added that it was her choice.
"They’ve accepted it, it's none of my business," Coleen shared.
She went on to add how she sees the wife of the footballer to be "strong" for dealing with life in the public eye and Wayne's scandals from such a young age.
The women spoke about the pair after the trailer for a documentary, named Rooney, dropped on Tuesday.
The footage revealed that Coleen will address her husband's infidelity and will share how it "wasn't acceptable" during the documentary that will delve into the footballing ace's life on and off the pitch.
In the trailer, Coleen says: "I knew groups Wayne was hanging around with - together with alcohol - not good. I forgive him but it wasn't acceptable."
Clips featured in the trailer show video from the pair's wedding day as well as them at home with their kids.
Coleen has stuck by Wayne through thick and thin and she has overlooked his numerous indiscretions and infidelities to stand with him.
Rooney, who has known Coleen since they met in secondary school aged 12, started visiting prostitutes at the age of 16.
He paid £140 to sleep with Charlotte Glover, then 21, and left her with an autograph as a souvenir.
A month later, he had sex with Gina McCarrick, then 37, at a £45-a-time brothel in Liverpool, which he visited 10 times and where he was caught on CCTV. He also had sex there with a 48-year-old grandmother known as "Auld Slapper" who wore a rubber catsuit.
The scandal came out in July 2004, devastating Coleen, who had stayed true to her childhood sweetheart.
In her autobiography, she revealed the reason she'd forgiven him was that he'd slept with the prostitutes before their relationship became serious.
"The truth is, and I've never said this before, at that time in our relationship I'd never even slept with Wayne," she said.
"I was only 16 and we weren't having that kind of relationship at that stage. We used to meet at the chippy or the cinema."
Wayne later issued an apology, saying: "Foolish as it now seems I did on occasions visit massage parlours and prostitutes. I now regret it deeply and hope people may understand that it was the sort of mistake you make when you are young and stupid. It was at a time when I was very young and immature."
Coleen managed to overlook Wayne's past with sex workers - despite the national outcry - and went on to marry him in 2008.
But in September 2010, the Sunday Mirror exclusively revealed that Wayne had been spending family money on secret hotel sessions with Jenny Thompson while Coleen was pregnant with their first son, Kai, in 2009.
He had seven separate trysts with Jennifer, who later went on to star in Ex On The Beach, and would take her out on date nights in public places.
Their last meeting was in October 2009, a month before Coleen gave birth.
In 2017, Jenny claimed that Rooney wasn't up to much in the bedroom.
"I mean he was alright, nothing special. Pretty average," she said of his lovemaking skills.
After it emerged that Wayne had cheated, Coleen moved herself and Kai out of the family home and stayed with her parents.
But once Wayne returned from the World Cup campaign, the two made up after Wayne promised there were no more skeletons in his closet.
Shortly after news got out that Wayne had been Pretty Woman-ing Jennifer Thompson, it then emerged that he'd had a threesome with Jenny and another prostitute, Helen Wood.
Both escorts apologised to Coleen through the press and their parents spoke of their disappointment over their daughters' career choices.
Helen claimed to the Sunday Mirror that Wayne had regretted the threeway as soon as it was over.
"Why the hell did I do that?" he reportedly asked Helen and Jenny while sitting on the hotel bed in a bath robe.
"He said, 'I feel really s**t already - I'm begging you two not to say anything. It will ruin my marriage if it gets out. Having a kid means everything to me,'" Helen claimed he said.
In the early hours of September 1 2017, Rooney was arrested and charged with drink-driving after being pulled over by officers following a night out.
He was driving party girl Laura Simpson's VW Beetle through Wilmslow, Cheshire, when he was stopped by police and taken to a station for questioning.
Coleen, who was pregnant with her and Wayne's fourth child Cass, was on holiday in Majorca at the time of the arrest, and rang Laura and demanded she told the truth about her night with Rooney.
"She asked me to tell her what happened," Laura told the Sun On Sunday.
"She seemed unhappy with the fact that we had left a nightclub in a cab together to go to my car."
Laura added that she apologised to Coleen but insisted nothing happened between the pair.
Coleen flew home to the couple's multimillion-pound Cheshire home for a furious showdown with her husband, reportedly yelling at him: "How could you do this to me while I'm pregnant? How could you be so stupid?"
The WAG later forgave Wayne in an emotional public statement, admitting that she had come close to ending their relationship.
They rebuilt their marriage with child-free cinema dates and Coleen even agreed to move the family to the States so Wayne - who was found guilty of drink-driving and banned from the roads for two years - could play for DC United in Washington.
On the Super Bowl weekend in February 2019, Wayne was spotted partying into the night with pretty barmaid Vicki Rosiek in Florida's Clearwater Beach, while Coleen was at home 900 miles away with their kids.
Wayne started drinking at 4.20pm and was still going at 2.30am, downing shots with Vicki after getting a lift with her to a different bar.
In August 2019, Wayne found himself pictured in a hotel lobby in Vancouver, following a mystery brunette into the lift.
The pictures sparked yet more speculation about the state of his marriage to Coleen, especially as it came amid reports he'd spent seven hours boozing with his teammates the night before.
Coleen was in the UK staying with her parents while Wayne partied the night away with his Washington DC team, ending up walking through the hotel at 5.36am a few steps behind the woman.
Coleen was seen hours after the story broke looking furious as she made a phone call, and reportedly insisted he fly straight home to explain himself.
In July 2021, pictures went viral on social media of the Derby County boss Wayne asleep, surrounded by three young women.
Rooney was pictured sleeping on a chair while in a hotel with Snapchat model Tayler Ryan and her pals Elise Melvin and Brooke Morgan over the weekend.
They had been at the exclusive club Chinawhite in Deansgate, Manchester, before moving on to a £60-a-night room at Staycity hotel. Rooney had been in Manchester following Derby's pre-season defeat to Salford.
There is no suggestion that Rooney acted inappropriately.
Wayne then apologised for the images.
Rooney said: "I made a mistake. I went to a private party with two of my friends.
"From me, I would like to apologise to my family and the club for the images which were going round.
"I want to move forward on this. I'm grateful to Derby County for giving me this opportunity to get this club back to where it belongs.
"I will do everything in my power to do that."
Coleen reportedly vowed to save her marriage despite the latest scandal.
A source told OK! : "Coleen has put her foot down and told Wayne it cannot happen again. She’s really laid the law down and has warned him he won’t get another chance. But she’s saving her marriage and moving forward."
They added: "People might say she’s weak, but she’s not letting something like this ruin her whole marriage. But no matter what has happened, he’s a great father and a great provider.
"Her family and her boys are so important to her. Wayne has been a great support to Coleen and nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors."
