Cole Palmer appears to have made his feelings clear on reported Chelsea interest in Kobbie Mainoo.

Chelsea are said to be interested in Mainoo, though a January move is considered unlikely at this stage. Mainoo has reportedly turned down a recent contract offer from United but still has two and a half years to run on his current terms, which were 11 months ago.

Palmer, who is considered a close friend of Mainoo's after growing a bond during England's run to the Euro 2024 final last summer, appears to approve of the transfer links.

Both Mainoo and Palmer are United fans and grew up just five miles apart in outer Manchester, although the former is three years Palmer's junior.

The Chelsea star has 'liked' an Instagram post by TheSecretScout, which discusses the news and questions whether it would be a good move for Mainoo.

Chelsea continue to be in the market for Europe's best young talent, a category which Mainoo would certainly fall under.
