Coldplay in Cardiff 2023: List of banned items at the Principality Stadium gigs

Coldplay fans can hardly contain their excitement as the popular band are set to play two Cardiff dates this week. Chris Martin and co are headed to the Principality Stadium on Tuesday, June 6, and Wednesday, June 7.

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, which was first announced in 2021, has been praised for its sustainability efforts. A statement from the band last week revealed that their current tour had produced 47% less CO2e emissions than their last stadium tour, A Head Full of Dreams – read more about that here.

The band’s arrival in the Welsh capital comes mere weeks after Beyoncé dazzled audiences with her Renaissance tour. However there are certain items that people will not be allowed to bring into the stadium including alcohol, illegal substances, laser pens, and flares.
