Stadium rockers Coldplay are heading to Manchester for two huge dates next year as part of their ‘groundbreaking’ Music Of The Spheres World Tour.
The band, who recently completed a triumphant run of six sold out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, will stop off at the Etihad Stadium on May 31 and June 1 - marking the only dates in England as part of the 2023 tour.
The tour, which fans hope will feature some of Coldplay’s biggest hits like Yellow and Paradise, has already been heralded for its groundbreaking set of sustainability initiatives including being powered by 100% renewable energy. Tickets go on sale Thursday (August 25) at 10am from Ticketmaster.

The Music Of The Spheres tour also features power bikes and kinetic dancefloors, which allow fans to help power the show, and the world’s first tourable battery system - made from 40 BMW electric car batteries. In addition, one tree is planted for every ticket sold.
Alongside the two dates in Manchester, the tour will kick off in Portugal before stopping in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden. The band will also perform at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 6.
Since the record-breaking tour began in Costa Rica in March 2022, more than four million tickets have been sold for dates in Latin America, North America and Europe. The latest dates were teased in the music video for Coldplay’s latest single Humankind.
