A popular Liverpool desserts venue inspired by Amsterdam's cafes has opened a new site in the city.
Safi's Desserts sells an indulgent range of cookie doughs, waffles and milkshakes. It already boasted cafes in Walton, Old Swan, Dingle, Hunts Cross and on Mount Pleasant in the city centre.
In an Instagram post last week, the team said they were "thrilled" to announce another location "in the wonderful city of Liverpool". It will be based in Norris Green at the Broad Lane Shopping Centre.

Safi's was keen to thank customers for the development. On Instagram, the post said: "Thank you to all the amazing people of Liverpool for their continued support, we couldn't have done it without you!
"Come by and enjoy our fresh waffles and thick milkshakes at our new location or have it delivered exclusively through UberEats."
Safi's Deserts has received rave reviews from cookie dough lovers in the past. An ECHO review last year praised its Nutella Cookie Dough and Ice Cream as the "perfect dessert".
Other customers have claimed it is the "Best Waffles and Desserts shop in Liverpool 100%". On Safi's website, it claims its shops are "inspired by the delightful cafés of Amsterdam" and offer "friendly, family-oriented atmosphere".
You can visit the Norris Green venue yourself or order from there to your home via UberEats. The site currently has a rating of 4.6/5 stars on the delivery app based on 37 reviews.
