Cody Gakpo could be set for his very own transfer audition when his PSV side face Arsenal in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.
The north Londoners were drawn with the Dutch outfit, alongside Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich in group A and it could be particularly interesting against the Eredivisie side given Gakpo's previous links to the Gunners. football.london reported last month that Arsenal were one of several Premier League clubs interested in the 23-year-old, with Mikel Arteta a huge fan of the player.
Gakpo enjoyed a stellar 2021/22 campaign, netting 21 goals and providing a further 15 assists across all competitions. football.london understands that Gakpo is keen to one day play in the English top-flight, although his current priority is making the Netherlands' squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Dutch international has also been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent times, although as per our sister title the Manchester Evening News, agency sources have suggested that interest has been whipped up in an attempt to pressure Ajax into relenting over Brazilian wideman Antony - who appears likely to join the Red Devils instead. The player has made it no secret of his admiration for Arsenal in the past, also heaping praise on the club's all-time leading goalscorer Thierry Henry.
"The Premier League is a big league," he told The Sun back in April. "Virgil van Dijk plays there with Liverpool so I like to watch them.
"We are not the same kind of league but I think we try to look at the Prem and learn about it. Everybody wants to play one time in the Prem. I don’t favour one team but I like Arsenal a lot."
He added: "I looked up to Henry when I was younger because he was a tall guy who played on the wing."
