Cody Gakpo's transfer to Liverpool is edging closer - and supporters are struggling to contain their excitement ahead of the Dutchman's proposed move from PSV after a 'leaked' image appeared on social media.
Talks between Liverpool and PSV significantly stepped up in recent days, leading to an announcement by Gakpo's current employers referring to an agreement being reached.
The ECHO understands the initial fee will be around the £37million figure with add-ons likely to take the deal well past the £40m mark.

The Reds are yet to themselves confirm the arrival of Gakpo ahead of the January window opening, but PSV released a statement earlier this week indiciating an "agreement on the upcoming transfer".
Reports have this evening suggested that a medical has been passed without issue and an announcement could be imminent - potentially as soon as tonight.
As is often the case in transfer deals of this nature, fans are excited as they wait for confirmation from the club of Gakpo's services being secured. Doing little to calm supporters down, an image of what appears to be the 23-year-old forward wearing a Liverpool training top has emerged.
Dutch creative director Jeffrey Pankow seemingly shared the shot on his Instagram story. He also posted a second picture which appeared to be outside the Reds' AXA Training Centre.
Pankow, who is followed by Gakpo on Instagram, has since set his Instagram account to private.
