Cody Drameh has told Cardiff City that he would be open to returning to Wales for a further loan next season, should he not be given assurances over how much playing time he would get for Leeds United. That's according to Wales Online, who have reported that Drameh is one of 15 incoming signings that the Welsh club are targeting.
Leeds Live's sister publication have stated that Drameh has 'made his feeling known' to the powers that be at the Principality Stadium.
They report: "If he is not guaranteed regular game time at Leeds United then he would be keen to countenance a move back to the Welsh capital. Leeds will likely want to keep hold of him for pre-season to assess him and Cardiff might not want to get into a similar situation that they had with Ryan Giles towards the back end of the January window. But Drameh has loved his time at City and if he felt it would be for the betterment of his career to have another year of regular football at Cardiff under his belt then he has shown he is headstrong enough to make that decision."

The full back made his senior debut this season, starting Leeds' Carabao Cup match against Arsenal. He also made three appearances in the Premier League, coming on as a substitute twice, before starting - again against Arsenal - when Leeds were decimated by injuries and Covid in December.
He left on loan for Cardiff in January, after pushing for the move as he felt regular senior football was vital for his development. Leeds' manager at the time, Marcelo Bielsa felt that he would be better served by staying at Elland Road but the move appears to have been the making of the youngster.
Drameh has started all 18 Championship fixtures since he moved to Cardiff and has assisted three goals in that time. He has earned rave reviews from fans and Cardiff manager, Steve Morison, who revealed that teams at the top end of the division had been calling him to ask his opinions on the player as they thought about trying to sign him themselves. Elswhere in the Wales Online piece, Bournemouth are named as one of the clubs keeping an eye on Drameh. He is contracted to Leeds until June 2024.
