Leeds United appear destined to sign a new right back this summer. Aberdeen’s Calvin Ramsay is thought to be a target, while Barcelona’s Sergino Dest has also been linked.
But reports emerged on Tuesday, that with Ramsay expected to opt for a move to Liverpool, Leeds now have their eyes set on Red Bull Salzburg’s Rasmus Kristensen. Leeds are set to face competition from Borussia Dortmund and Brentford for Kristensen’s signature, though some reports claim that the Whites are confident of capturing the Denmark international.
The 24-year-old netted 10 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions last season but is actually renowned for his aggressive defensive style. Without a new addition, Leeds would be starting the season extremely short in that position, with both Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas out long term.

However, one player currently in the squad that this could affect is Cody Drameh – who is set to return to Leeds for pre-season after a successful loan spell at Cardiff City. Drameh was awarded both player and young player of the year upon the conclusion of the campaign, despite only joining in January.
That shows the level of impact he had on the Bluebirds, with manager Steve Morison often publicly praising the level of consistent performances he was producing. And Drameh has already made it clear what he wants from Leeds ahead of the new season – game time.
That was initially the reason he was so keen to leave on loan in the winter window, but after proving himself at Cardiff, he will now be desperate to achieve that at Leeds in the Premier League. He told WalesOnline that being assured of regular first team minutes at Leeds next season is really important, saying: "If I'm not promised game-time then I don't really want to be waiting around.”
That certainly leaves Leeds with a big decision on their hands.
