A man has been arrested after a whopping €3.2 million of suspected cocaine was seized in west Dublin on Sunday evening.
Officers attached to the Ronanstown District Drugs Unit and Detective Unit searched a house in Clondalkin at around 7pm and made the discovery. The operation was part of an investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the area.
Over 40 blocks of suspected cocaine were found and seized by gardai, with an estimated street value of approximately €3.2 million. Officers also seized drug paraphernalia and cash to the value of €21,500 during the course of the search.

One man, aged in his late 30s, was arrested and taken to Lucan Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. A garda spokeswoman said that "investigations are ongoing".
