A dealer has been warned the most likely sentence is prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply. Dominic Hammond, 30, of Breck Bank, Ollerton, entered his plea at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday (November 21).
He had a quantity of cocaine, a Class A drug with intent to supply to another on November 23 last year. He appeared in court on a second charge of possessing cannabis after he was convicted on this allegation before Mansfield Magistrates' Court on October 11, 2022.
Hammond's basis of plea to the cocaine supply will be submitted - that he was supplying to friends on some occasions and the amounts were very small.

Judge William Harbage KC directed the basis of plea be lodged by 4pm and adjourned for a pre-sentenced report. He said Hammond, who attended court on bail, said the most likely sentence was custody.
He told Hammond: "You have pleaded guilty to a serious charge today, and one other serious matter is to be sentenced as well. The court must have the fullest possible information before passing sentence on January 9".
After extending bail, he ordered Hammond co-operate with the probation service.
