In what will be good news for families ahead of the festive period, it appears the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour could soon be making a much-anticipated return to cities around the UK. The soft drinks giant has just teased that the famous red truck could be back.
Though it's yet to be confirmed what major UK cities it will visit, it's hoped the tour could visit more Scottish sites after only appearing in Glasgow last year - and surely Edinburgh will be on this year's list?
Part of the drink's giants Christmas celebrations, the truck tour usually makes its way around 40 cities in the UK, but only had a shortened trip last year after being postponed in 2020 due to Covid.

The popular tour gives communities around the UK the chance to see the iconic truck, which features in the Coca‑Cola 'Holidays Are Coming' advert, in person.
The exciting news comes after someone on the social media site Twitter asked the official Coca-Cola account whether the tour will be back for 2022, writing: “@CocaCola_GB is the holiday truck, coming this year?”
Coca-Cola GB responded, alongside an emoji of a set of eyes and a winky face, by writing: "Christmas is coming but is the truck tour? You will have to watch this space."
Having only appeared in Glasgow last year for two days, it's likely we could see the truck visiting elsewhere this year, with the Coca-Cola team giving out free cans of their famous range and offering excited families the chance to grab selfies as part of a "magical winter wonderland setting."
Though no dates or venues have been confirmed as of yet, last year they were posted by the official Twitter account @CocaCola_GB over a period of a few days at the end of November.
As always though, we'll be the first to let you know as soon as they confirm any dates for Edinburgh.
