Coca-Cola is recalling some of its Chistmas multipacks after they were incorrectly packaged. The Food Standards Agency has warned some of the boxes marked Coca-Cola Zero Sugar could contain the Coca-Cola Original taste cans.
The FSA said: "This makes the product a potential risk to consumers who need to manage their sugar intake." It added: "If you have bought the above product and need to manage your sugar intake, please do not drink it. Instead, contact Coca-Cola on 0800 22 77 11 and they will arrange for you to receive a replacement product."
It said the affected packs are Coca-Cola Zero Sugar multipacks with Christmas cardboard. They are the multipack of 24 x 330ml cans.
They have the batch codes 301WA1, 302WA1, 303WA1, 304WA1, 305WA5, 306WA5, 307WA5 and 308WA5. All are Best Before October 31, 2023 and November 30, 2023.
In its product recall notice Coca-Cola said: "A small number of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar 24 x 330ml multipacks with Christmas cardboard could contain cans of Coca-Cola Original Taste. The quality of the drink itself is not affected.
"If you open one of these Coca-Cola Zero Sugar multipacks and find they contain cans of Coca-Cola Original Taste, please call a member of our team on 0800 22 77 11 who will be able to help. Our lines are open Monday to Friday 9-Spm.
