Coca-Cola has given its strongest hint yet that its famous Christmas truck could be back for a UK tour this year.
The bright red lorry branded with the Coca-Cola logo has become synonymous with the festive period for many people since it first featured on an advert for the company in 1995. The ad, with its familiar Holidays Are Coming music, became so popular with viewers that the truck started appearing in locations across the UK in an annual promotional tour.
It was cancelled in 2020 but came back last year. Now Coca-Cola has teased its return for 2022.

Twitter user Anthony Murray used the social media site to ask the official Coca-Cola GB account if the truck tour would be happening again this year. In response, Coca-Cola GB posted emojis of a pair of eyes and a winking face and wrote: "Christmas is coming but is the truck tour? You will have to watch this space."
The truck visited a number of places across the UK last year including Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff. Dates for the tour were announced separately over the space of a few days in 2021 so it's quite possible Coca-Cola will do the same thing again this year if it will be taking place.
Locations and dates were revealed on Twitter last year so fans are advised to keep their eye on Coca-Cola's official UK Twitter account over the coming days. Its handle is @CocaCola_GB.
