Coastguard crews have been deployed as part of a desperate search for missing Scot Jakub Ziomko.
The 39-year-old was last seen in the Findon area of Portlethen, near Aberdeen, at around 12pm on Tuesday, February 8.
He has not been seen or heard from since and last night a coastguard helicopter was circling Findon cove as part of the search.
At around 10pm, a search and rescue helicopter was deployed from Inverness, along with coastguard rescue teams from Aberdeen, Stonehaven and Cruden Bay.
A lifeboat team were also deployed from Aberdeen to search an area of the sea.
Officers from Police Scotland are continuing to appeal for information amid growing concerns for Jakub's welfare.
Jakub is described as 5ft 8ins tall, with short brown hair a brown beard and speaks with a Polish accent.
He was last seen wearing a dark green North Face jacket carrying a brown bag.
Anyone who may have seen Jakub since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2618 of February 8.
A spokesperson for the coastguard confirmed the activity was part of the police lead incident.
