Coastal Carolina's first-ever win at Appalachian State was certainly cause for celebration. But offensive lineman Evan Jumper took an unusual approach to commemorating the 27–24 victory.
As Chanticleers players roamed the field following Kade Hensley's game-winning field goal, several Appalachian State fans threw beers from the stands in frustration. However, Jumper took what was intended as an insult and turned it into a memorable moment.
Check out the video clip of Jumper (wearing No. 72) picking up a cup of beer near the end zone stands and drinking it.

In response to Rodger Sherman's video clip posted to X (formerly Twitter), Jumper later wrote "Damn right!!"
If there's any concern over a college player possibly under the legal drinking age chugging a beer, Jumper is a 23-year-old graduate student who transferred to Coastal Carolina from Furman for his senior season.
There may not have been beer in that cup, anyway. Regardless, the gesture was surely refreshing for Jumper after a hard-fought win on a cool fall night in Boone, N.C.
