Co Derry boutique for women suffering with hair loss to launch

For many women, hair loss can be an incredibly stressful and emotional time.

A new salon in Magherafelt, Co Derry, is to launch this weekend, specialising in helping women through their hair loss and create bespoke wigs to make them feel as amazing as they can.

Fearless wigs are a hair replacement boutique for women, offering wig therapy for cancer patients and those suffering from hair loss or alopecia.

As well as the launch of the salon and networking women with the salon owners, the fundraiser will also hear some inspiring stories from women who have experienced hair loss.

Additionally, the launch will be raising funds for Angel Wishes, who help support all children in NI with cancer related conditions.

Fearless offers clients a chance to find the perfect hair piece for them, made to measure with wide variety of colours and styles.

Fearless will also provide a monthly support group for hair loss clients as well as a first class aftercare service. Home consultations can also be provided.

Sharon Ferguson of Fearless Wigs spoke to MyDerry about the upcoming launch.

She said: "Everyone is extremely welcome to pop in and see our Salon, meet the team, and grab a drink and goodie bag.

"Then join us in Secrets Nightclub to hear from our very special guests Olivia McVeigh and Niamh Kiely on their journeys with hair loss and alopecia.

"On the night we are supporting Angel Wishes, all money raised and donations will go to help support all children in Northern Ireland with cancer related conditions and create special memories for sick children and their families.

"Thank you in advance for all the donations. To Ma Quinns for providing the bubbly, to One2One Domiciliary Care Company for the nibbles and Dormans Bar for the facility on the night and to who else participated in helping us get set up."

The launch is taking place on Saturday, March 26, from 7.30pm at 7A Queen Street, Magherafelt.

Fearless can be followed on Instagram and Facebook.
