Co Antrim incident sees two people rescued by emergency services after car enters water

Antrim Co Antrim

Two people have been rescued by emergency services after a crash in Co Antrim.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, PSNI and the NI Ambulance Service attended the scene of the incident outside Doagh on Sunday night.

A NIFRS post read: "Crews from Ballyclare and Antrim stations and NIFRS Specialist Rescue Team attended an RTC on the outskirts of Doagh, rescuing 2 members of the public with the assistance of the Ambulance Service and their Hazard Area Response Team and PSNI.

"Thanks to the ‘Fire Emergency Support Services’ (FESS) vehicle which also attended."
