New Delhi: Price for the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) was hiked by Rs 2 per kg in Mumbai and other cities in the country.
The Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has announced the hike while there is no increase in piped cooking gas across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Now, the CNG will cost Rs 77 per kg, and the piped gas price will continue to be at the same rate of Rs 48 per unit.

Apart from Mumbai, the CNG price was hiked in Uttar Pradesh's Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Haryana's Gurugram.

Meanwhile, CNG rates in the national capital remained unchanged at Rs 75.09 per kg. Now, the CNG will cost Rs 81.70 in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
In Gurugram, CNG will be bought for Rs 82.12 per kg with effect from November 23.
