David Goodwillie is set to have his contract terminated at Clyde days after rejoining the club on loan from Raith Rovers.
A statement released by the club this evening confirmed bosses were in the process of terminating Goodwillie's loan agreement.
It comes after North Lanarkshire Council, who control the club grounds, banned the 32-year-old from entering Broadwood Stadium.
A statement from Clyde FC said: "The club are tonight in the process of terminating the loan agreement with Raith Rovers for David Goodwillie."
In 2017, Goodwillie was ordered to pay damages in a civil court after he was ruled to have raped a woman, six years after he was initially charged.
His move to Raith Rovers sparked major backlash this year as club bosses were forced into a U-turn after sponsors pulled funding and the ladies team rebranded as McDermid Ladies.
