Tesco Clubcard points sure do build up each week and there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the vouchers built up on your November statement. But what do you spend them all on?
For the uninitiated , for every £1 you spend in-store or online with Tesco , you’ll collect one Clubcard point. You can then spend these points on vouchers for your grocery shop or your fuel bill or you can exchange them for higher-value vouchers with Tesco’s reward partners.
These can be for days out to museums, theme parks or zoos, or for money off a restaurant bill or travel tickets. With these, your winter days out are sorted, so we’ve had a look at some options across Newcastle and the North East to get the most out of your Clubcard vouchers.

Days out
Cineworld
Enjoy a day at the movies with every 50p in vouchers worth £1.50 at Cineworld. Tickets at Cineworld, which you’ll find in The Gate in Newcastle’s city centre, vary depending on the film, the time and the date but appear to be around the £5-£10 mark.
Vouchers can also be used to purchase food, drinks and snacks in the cinema.
The National Museum of the Royal Navy
All aboard! The National Museum of the Royal Navy at Hartlepool is a must-visit for those with young children, who’ll love clambering aboard the HMS Trincomalee and learning all about sailors and pirates.
Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for children if booked online in advance. For every 50p in Clubcard vouchers you have, you’ll get £1.50 to spend with the museum, meaning that tickets for one adult and one child that would normally cost £14 will cost just £5 in Clubcard vouchers.
Bowes Museum
For families who prefer a day out indoors, Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham is packed with European fine and decorative art. It has interactive galleries and fun things to do for all the family.
Every 50p in Clubcard vouchers is worth £1.50 towards admission at Bowes Museum. Usually, this costs £17.50 for a day ticket for adults but annual membership costs just £14.50 and those under 18 go free.
You need to book in advance for The Bowes Museum in advance, with no fee and then show your Clubcard partner code on arrival. Please call 01833 690 606 to make a booking.
