Club Brugge are ready to accept Leeds United's offer for Belgian star Charles De Ketelaere - but the 21-year-old continues to have his heart set on a move to Serie A champions AC Milan. De Ketelaere is Leeds' biggest transfer target of the summer, with Whites boss Jesse Marsch publicly confirming the clubs interest from down under in Australia.
While it's easy to see why the Belgian would prefer a move to Milan, who can offer him Champions League football, ultimately Brugge want to take the best deal possible. As things stand, Milan cannot financially match the reported £35m bid Leeds tabled for De Ketelaere a few weeks ago - which leaves the starlet's club in a bind.
And according to Belgian journalist Alexandre Braeckman, Brugge are more than willing to accept Leeds' offer, but the only thing holding up the deal is De Ketelaere's desire to move to Milan. "Leeds just talk to him and his representatives, and its representatives said, you know, we have Milan now, so sorry, but we’re not interested, that we’re not interested," Braeckman told the JUSTJOE FOOTBALL SHOW.

"And that’s important, but at the same time, like you said, there must have been something that they felt that it was still possible and they submitted this bid for this 37 million… And then Milan now is still struggling to match this bid.
"That’s not the intention of Bruges, they didn’t expect that Milan is matching this bid within the same time you know. They say okay if Leeds is ready to put this kind of money, you have to be too. So it’s frozen, frozen, the bit of Leeds is frozen, you know, Brugge, if they could, they would accept it, right now."
