Club bangers that had everyone on the dancefloor in the '90s

With the current fashion and beauty trends, remixes of old songs going viral on TikTok and even instant cameras making a comeback, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were somehow back in the '90s.

Yet no matter how many scrunchies or rolls of film we buy, nothing will ever take us back to the carefree joy of our dancing days. Nothing, that is, but the dance music itself.

No decade has produced dance tracks quite like the '90s, which is probably why many of the songs released in the decade are still club staples today.

With house beats, '80s-influenced synths and an appreciation for the style of powerhouse vocals that dominated pop music of earlier decades, '90s dance music had something the genre hasn't quite been able to replicate since.

Now, we're not saying it was perfect. It was, after all, responsible for spawning overly-autotuned vocals (we're looking at Cher and some animated blue aliens). And the decade also produced some songs that required one to be significantly inebriated to enjoy.

But all in all, '90s club-goers got fairly lucky with the soundtrack to their nights out.

Take a walk down memory lane with us as we visit the ultimate club bangers that dominated dancefloors across Ireland and the UK in the '90s.

Let us know in the comments which song brings back the most memories of drinking, dancing and, more than likely, boking for you.
