Club 3000: New £3.5million bingo hall opens in Kilmarnock

Paul Riley swapped Craiglang for Kilmarnock as he officially opened Kilmarnock's new multi-million pound bingo hall.

The Still Game actor, who plays Winston Ingram, was in the town last weekend to cut the ribbon at Club 3000's new venue on Portland Street.

And 800 revellers packed into the town centre hall where the venue has been given a new innovative design and layout during months of renovation work.

The masses were well entertained on the night with a magician, the three-piece band Scotland Rocks as well as a variety of bingo all on offer for customers. Each guest was also given some bubbly on arrival.

Oliver Fraser, general manager said: “The opening was a fabulous evening the atmosphere was fantastic, I was delighted to see so many customers at the event and would like to thank them for their support and my team who made it all happen on the night.

"This is great community, and we can’t wait to welcome in all our lovely customers.”

Brian Fraser the owner of Club 3000 added: “We were thrilled to launch our newest club here at Kilmarnock, the club demonstrates how we lead the way as a modern-day bingo operator.

"We welcome all our new customers to the Club 3000 family. It was fantastic so see so many customers celebrating with us on the night.”

Paul Riley said: “I was delighted to officially open the brand-new luxury Club 3000 Bingo Club in Kilmarnock on Saturday, August 27, it was a pleasure to meet the team and customers, it really was a fantastic opening night, what a party."
