Cliftonville teenager Fionnula Morgan is the first Danske Bank Women’s Player of the Month for the 2022 season.
In April and May, defender Morgan helped the Reds to six league victories and five clean sheets as the Solitude club made an unbeaten start to the new season.
She has also scored six goals, registering doubles against Glentoran, Linfield and Lisburn.

Morgan’s form has been recognised by national team manager Kenny Shiels, who called the teen into Northern Ireland’s pre-Euros training squad.
The 19 year-old said: “I want to thank everyone who voted for me and all my teammates who make it so easy for me to play the game.
“It’s a great boost for me personally for the Euros as it shows that all the training and personal development, I have been involved in is working and hopefully continues to help me in the future.”
