Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman suffered a head injury during practice at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. He was air lifted by helicopter to a hospital in Virginia for further evaluation and treatment.

The injury occurred when Foreman received a direct blow to the head during a drill, resulting in neck pain. Despite the incident, he had movement in all of his extremities, as confirmed by a statement from the Browns.

Medical staff provided initial treatment on the field before Foreman was immobilized on a stretcher. He was then transported by ambulance to a medical center in Roanoke, Virginia, where he was flown for additional medical attention.

Foreman, 28, joined the Browns as a free agent in March, adding depth to the team's running back position. His presence is particularly valuable as Nick Chubb continues his recovery from a knee injury that ended his previous season.

With seven NFL seasons under his belt, Foreman was initially drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2017 draft after a collegiate career at the University of Texas. He has since played for various teams, including the Texans, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, and Chicago Bears.

Throughout his career, Foreman has accumulated 2,326 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. In his most recent season with the Bears, he recorded 425 rushing yards and four touchdowns across nine games.
