Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Nick Chubb underwent a successful surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on Nov. 14.
This is Chubb’s second surgery, both planned, after he suffered a season-ending left knee injury during Monday Night Football on Sept. 19 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chubb underwent a successful knee surgery on Sept. 29 for his media capsule, meniscus and media collateral ligament (MCL). Chubb had made good progress from his initial surgery, which allowed him to undergo the ACL surgery.
The Cleveland Browns running back successfully recovered from a devastating leg injury during his Georgia career. Chubb is trying to do it again in 2023-2024.
The Browns’ official social media account provided a positive update on Chubb.
Dr. Voos considered today’s surgery successful and added that Nick’s recovery has progressed very well following his first surgery.
Chubb is one of the most well-liked and respected players in the NFL. We wish him luck on the road to recovery.
