Irish nursery brand ClevaMama has delivered a stylish and compact air purifier aimed at the little ones.
ClevaPure Air Purifier, also known as Mika, is a medical-grade machine that removes 99.95 per cent of irritants which can trigger asthma and allergies in young children.
It can help prevent any bacterial infections by removing viruses in the air.

It filters out viruses with particles bigger than 0.3 microns meaning that it can help to remove Strep A and other winter infections.
It is specifically ozone-free which is the safest option for babies.
The machine also helps to protect against pollutants, mould, dust mites, bacteria, allergens, pollen, viruses, smoke and odours.
I’ve tested quite a few air purifiers and this scores bonus points for its simplicity and ease of use.
You control it using either the responsive touch system or by the intuitive smartphone app Smart Life. The latter enables you to schedule when you use it if you wish.
The lightweight and compact machine has a minimalist white design and build and engages children with its unique robot style.
It’s robotic eyes light up as happy when the air is clean and become sad when the air quality is poor. If you want to see this demonstrated, just put the unit in the kitchen when you are cooking and watch the eyes turn sad but then go back to happy once the purifier has worked its magic and cleaned the air.
There is an in-between third ‘expression’ of open eyes for moderate air quality. The indicators are based on the PM2.5 pollutant detection value.
Mika is super quiet in operation when used in the auto mode which is obviously helpful when the little ones are sleeping. You can manually increase and decrease the fan speed if you wish.
To power it off you just touch the area between its eyes.
It may be marketed as a device for baby’s nursery – where little ones spend many hours every day – it is also such a lightweight and portable device that you can easily use it anywhere in the home.
ClevaPure is also one of the most affordable air purifiers on the market, and great to see an Irish firm producing cutting-edge tech with such a practical use for families.
Air purifiers generally are inexpensive to run as they don’t consume much electricity.
Verdict
This is so quiet in use and so effective in its removal of potentially harmful irritants from the air that it's ideal for bedrooms and specifically babies bedrooms.
Great to see an Irish company behind a piece of such practical home tech.
