One of the top cornerback prospects in the 2022 NFL draft won’t be taking part in on-field drills at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine due to injury.
Clemson’s Andrew Booth Jr. suffered a strained quad muscle while training for the 40-yard dash, and won’t be working out this weekend in Indianapolis, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
A potential first-round pick, Booth will now hope to be back to full strength for the Tigers’ pro day workout ahead of this year’s draft.
On-field workouts begin Thursday at 4 p.m., and can be viewed on NFL Network and ESPN.
