Clement names Rangers side to face Malmo as summer signing handed first start

Philippe Clement has named his Rangers starting XI to face Malmo in the Europa League.

The Ibrox club kick-off their campaign in the revamped European competition this evening.

And Clement has handed Neraysho Kasanwirjo a first start for Rangers in Sweden as he slots in at left-back. 

The defender - signed from Feyenoord in the summer - has featured off the bench for Rangers on one occasion but never started a match.

Jack Butland starts in goal with James Tavernier, John Souttar, Robin Propper and Kasanwirjo in defence.

Connor Barron is in midfield alongside Mohamed Diomande, Tom Lawrence, Ndeim Bajrami and Vaclav Cerny with Cyriel Dessers up front.
