The Wolves forward - who joined the Premier League side for £35m from Porto - has signed a loan deal at Rangers until the end of the season.
However, he hasn't been thrown straight in from the start.
Dujon Sterling has dropped to the bench for the league encounter with Leon Balogun suspended after his red card against Celtic.
John Souttar and Kieran Dowell come into the starting XI with Nicolas Raskin back in the squad on the bench.
RANGERS XI: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar, Ridvan, Lundstram, Dowell, Cantwell, McCausland, Sima, Dessers.
SUBS: McCrorie, Silva, Lammers, Matondo, Sterling, Wright, King, Raskin, Devine.
