ClearSky Logic is targeting London and Manchester office openings over the next 12 months, following growth in its Edinburgh headquarters and Glasgow satellite site.
The technology firm, founded by Darren Auld and Phil Telfer in 2018, has grown its headcount to 25 and is now planning to add another 10 to 15 people to match client and project activity.
ClearSky Logic is seeing a surge in clients implementing ChatGPT, alongside helping businesses reduce carbon emissions around their tech, integrating blockchain technology and supporting fast-growth companies as they prepare to raise investment from angel and venture capital firms.
Siccar, Urocked and Investment Tribe were among client wins in 2022, joining a client base that includes Gigged.ai, Fresh Car, LendingCrowd, Together Energy, Lettingweb, Mitsubishi and Biscuit Tin.
Chief executive Auld said: “We have seen a shift in the quality of the projects over the last couple of years, and in 2022 the designs, builds, and overall impact has been on a different level.
“Looking forward, we see financial services as a key target sector, and with a number of scale-up companies on our roster, we also see increasing work in this area.”
Chief technology officer Telfer said: “Essentially, we have two main service lines - our discovery workshop allows us to meet with the company and run a two to three day session, so we can discuss problems, challenges, and desired outcomes.
“We then deploy our tech team on a project basis to help businesses build, scale, and develop; sometimes this can be our tech team working separately on a project, or it can be alongside the company’s existing tech team.”
ClearSky Logic strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Paul Duffy as chief growth officer in February.
Tino Nombro and Phil Gripton are already non-executive directors on the company’s board.
