"Clearest Bigfoot Footage' Yet? Man Behind Viral Video Defends Claim: 'All I Know Is I Was Frightened' "

With some calling a viral video the 'clearest Bigfoot footage' yet, and others raising questions, the TikTok account that posted it defends its authenticity, claiming, "All I know is I was frightened."

@e_man580 Scariest moment of my life and I really think I caught a fucking Bigfoot on camera in parallel forest. I wakes just doing some sight seeing and enjoying the day and saw something in the distance. Im still shaking as I type this. #bigfoot #sighting #oklahoma #parallelforest #fyp #scared ♬ original sound - E_ManAlfaro

The TikTok posted by @E_ManAlfaro has received over 2.5 million views in two days, and shows a large, furry character through the trees as he leans back against a trunk several feet away. The audio catches increasingly heavy breathing and when Bigfoot looks toward the camera, the picture blurs as the filmer appears to run away.

"Scariest moment of my life," the caption reads. "I was just doing some sight seeing and enjoying the day and saw something in the distance. I'm still shaking as I type this."

Commenters are dubious. "It's nice to see real footage of a real Bigfoot," a sarcastic reply says. "I completely believe this is real. Thank you for sharing this."

"It can't be him, the REAL Bigfoot is blurry, haven't yall seen the pics," says one. The creator replies, "That's why I had to capture him myself when I saw him but you can see I was terrified getting this footage."

The poster appears in many of the reply threads, insisting on the validity of his encounter, emphasizing the danger and fear. When someone tells him it's the best video they've seen, he replies "I appreciate that. I ain't going back out there without an army though." Another reply asks, "You caught Bigfoot slipping, huh?" followed by crying-laughing emojis. "Apparently so...all I know is I was frightened," he says.

Some viewers are more willing to suspend their disbelief. "HONESTLY at this level of Jumanji, unprecedented, biblical, crazy times.. I would probably believe it. They finally told us aliens were real... 🤔" one TikToker writes.

The discourse has been embraced by Bigfoot Head Shop, the Oklahoma vape store that actually filmed the original video. Internet sleuths made the connection and over on X, where "Bigfoot" is a trending topic, a contextual note has been added to the video with its true origin.

As of Thursday, the TikToker has not commented on the information presented on other social media platforms.
