Clearbell Property Partners and Iceni Property Asset Management have acquired six student accommodation blocks in Aberdeen.
The sites, totalling 1,050 beds across the city, were owned by Unite Students and have been purchased for an undisclosed sum.
Under Clearbell and Iceni’s management, a rolling refurbishment programme will be implemented across all properties.
Both firms have previously collaborated on the day-to-day running of a student property in Southampton, Lucia Foster Welch, under the Every Student brand.
This acquisition brings the total number of student accommodation beds to 1,859 across their portfolio.
Rob Mills, partner at Clearbell, said: “As the number of young people attending university continue to increase yearly, we want to help students access well-priced and high-quality accommodation, where they have the chance not only to enjoy their university experience but also to have the opportunity to be part of a community in a culturally rich and diverse city like Aberdeen.”
Matthew McAdden, founding director at Iceni Property Asset Management, added: “We are delighted to complete another acquisition with Clearbell to add to our Every Student brand.
“These assets are well located and of good quality, they are all priced at levels that ensure that we can deliver on our brand promise of quality living at affordable prices.”
