Clayton Kershaw is a 3-time Cy Young winner, a nine-time All-Star, and a one time MLB MVP but that doesn’t mean baseball – and throwing a baseball – always comes easy for the lefty.
Take what happened in Saturday night’s St. Louis Cardinals-Los Angeles Dodgers game in LA, for example. The future Hall of Famer fielded a ground ball and then tried to throw it to first base when disaster struck – he mishandled the ball and it ended up going behind him.
Kershaw was able to shake this off and get his 10th win of the season but this was pretty wild to see from such a great pitcher/player:

Whoops!
Twitter had jokes.
Clayton Kershaw – no-doubt first-ballot Hall of Fame baseball throwing man forgets how to throw a ball. https://t.co/7IZJGK6R1p

Someone check his glove and hat for tack. That thing falls right off the table! Can’t be natural. https://t.co/U8YjR8fofB
