Claudia Winkleman is married to a world-renowned film director.
Most of us know Claudia from her regular presentations on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, The Great British Sewing Bee, and most recently The Traitors. It can feel like she's everywhere at once but very little is known about the star when the cameras stop rolling.

Famous partner
Claudia is not the only famous star in her family, as her husband is film director and producer Kris Thykier. Kris has worked on some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters including Stardust, Tolkien, Operation Mincemeat, Kick-Ass and TV series Riviera.
He most recently worked as an executive producer on the 2022 romantic comedy, Your Christmas or Mine? and has received several BAFTA nominations throughout his career. Claudia and Kris met through friends in 2000 and dated for several years, before tying the knot in a secret ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in 2000.
Family life with children
Together, Claudia and Kris have welcomed three children called Jake (19), Matilda (16) and Arthur (11), with the family living in London, the Daily Star reported.
The couple tends to keep their personal life private away from the limelight, but Claudia has opened up about her husband occasionally. Claudia discussed being left devastated when eldest son Jake left home to start university in 2022, and admitted to feeling "heartbroken."
Speaking to Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin on From Midlife Podcast, Claudia admitted she handles separation from her children "badly", as she said: "One is at university and I felt heartbroken.
"But it’s not fair on him for me to just keep him here with me all the time, just having three meals a day and me looking in his eyes and going, 'I’m not being funny but if you love that Rolling Stones album would you consider listening to this Led Zeppelin song."
She added: "He doesn’t want to do that. He wants to be with his friends. Roots and wings and all that, you have to give them both."
Steamy bedroom revelation
Claudia made a saucy revelation after she revealed that she fell for husband Kris because of his manners - and his "mind-blowing" skills in the bedroom.
Speaking to OK! Magazine about her hubby, she said that Kris made her "head shoot off her shoulders" in the bedroom when they first started dating.
Not only that, but she also opened up on falling for Kris' polite manners, saying his good nature was what attracted her to him. She said: "What did it for me was how he behaved in restaurants, bars and planes – indeed, simply around people.
"I married him because he always asks the cab driver how his day was. I love the fact he’ll never take a seat on the tube and I’m happy he believes in big tips and not making a mess."
