Claudia Winkleman looked unrecognisable in a throwback snap without her trademark fringe.
The Strictly Come Dancing presenter was confronted with the photo on The One Show, where she was promoting her upcoming live tour, Behind the Fringe.
Hosts Alex Jones and Ronan Keating presented Claudia with the confronting photo where the star was missing her iconic trim.
"Is that actually me?" Claudia gasped.
"That's disgusting," she added. "Let's take it off."
The presenter was then asked if she would consider going blonde.
"I only work because of the hair," she said. "I can't change it."
However, fans were quick to comment that they preferred the Great British Sewing Bee presenter's old look.
One fan tweeted: "#TheOneShow Claudia Winkleman looks so much better without the fringe!"
Another added: "So much better without the fringe #claudiawinkleman #TheOneShow."
A third commented on the Head and Shoulders patron's iconic locks: "Claudia has the best hair."
Behind The Fringe will be Claudia Winkleman's first-ever live tour as she makes a move from the small screen to the stage.
The unique show will have her chat and sing with audience members, as well as offer "mass live fringe trims on stage" from local hairdressers.
The TV presenter said she wanted to welcome attendees into her "cult" with the trims.
The tour will see Claudia travel across the UK, with ten venues across the country playing host to her tour.
The tour will open in Guildford on April 25, before heading to venues in Bradford, Brighton, Birmingham, Basingstoke, Folkestone, Leicester, Dorking, and London.
The presenter plans to end the tour at the Opera House in Buxton on May 10.
Speaking about the tour, Claudia said: "Right, what is 'Beyond The Fringe'? Well, it's more of an 'evening with' than anything else."
She promised some "chatter at the beginning," with topics including boots and eye-liner, melted cheese and "why holidays are awful."
The star added that she would discuss "why people who name their cars should be avoided."
"I know: sounds absolutely horrendous," the TV presenter commented.
"On the upside, there will be a mass live fringe trim on stage."
She added: "Act two is all about you, the audience. Think large velvet chair (I cannot confirm it will be velvet) and me interviewing anyone who ticked a box on arrival.
"Potential for matchmaking, fact-checking and soul searching before a big sing-song - Frozen's 'Let It Go' probably - and then we head for home."
Promoting the tour on social media earlier this week (February 1), she tweeted to her 914,200 followers "This is happening. It will be awful / fun. Tickets on sale Friday. X"
