Claudia Winkleman joked King Charles' Coronation was like "Tory Christmas" in an interview with Jack Whitehall.
Comedian Jack and Claudia were chatting on the Strictly presenter's Radio 2 show this morning ahead of The Coronation at Westminster Abbey.
Jack said about his dad, Michael: "Obviously for him he's really excited as well because The Coronation is like Tory Glastonbury, it's this huge event, I think he's excited" with Claudia interrupting to say: "Tory Christmas."
The Bad Education then added his dad is "over the moon" and "will be watching every second of it," after explaining his mum had queued for three days to see the King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Claudia's half sister, Peep Show actor Sophie, is married to Lord Freddie Windsor. He is the son of the Queen's first cousin Prince Michael of Kent.
Jack has previously revealed that he has been "banned" from making anymore jokes about the Royals by his dad.
"I've been told I'm not allowed to make any more jokes about the Royal Family because my dad thinks it will impact his chances of getting on OBE," he explained.
In the past, Jack has taken several comedic swipes at the Royal Family, famously calling Prince Harry "ginger nuts" during the 2015 Royal Variety performance, before joking: "I will offer up his services as royal wingman," as Harry and his now wife, Meghan Markle were not dating.
Jack has also been left red-faced after Charles, who was then Prince of Wales was left far from impressed by his "terrible" jokes.
He explained that he had once been asked to appear at Charles' Christmas party for his staff with the Prince and then Duchess of Cornwall sitting on the front row in thrones.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Jack explained: "I heard Charles turn to Camilla as I was leaving the stage and he went 'I think next year we'll try a magician'."
Jack also told the Mirror he wasn't keen on performing at the Coronation concert, saying: "I don't know if my material is quite right for such an occasion.
"I think they may want to stick to Cliff Richard and Rod Stewart."
Jack joins the likes of Kylie, Harry Styles, the Spice Girls and Take That who have all stated they won't be performing at Windsor Castle.
The star-studded concert will celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen and will be broadcast from 8pm on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, Radio 2 and BBC Sounds on Sunday 7th May.
Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That are set to perform, but Freya Ridings has pulled out as she is unwell.
Londoner Zak will now be filling in for Freya after being too unwell to perform.
He is set to showcase his soulful vocals in a duet with classical-soul composer and producer Alexis Ffrench at the historic event.
In a statement, the broadcaster said: “The BBC has announced that British singer-songwriter Zak Abel is stepping in to perform at Sunday’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle, replacing Freya Ridings, who has had to pull out, due to being unwell and therefore unable to perform."
Speaking of his last-minute addition to the lineup, Zak said: "I am honoured and overwhelmed to be included in the Coronation celebrations.
"To have the opportunity to be part of such a historic moment is something I will forever be humbled by and will never forget.”
