Claude Littner has said he didn't break his own rule during The Apprentice interviews on this week's episode of the hit BBC reality competition show. Week 11 saw the final five candidates go head to head being interviewed by Lord Sugar's closest business allies, with two of the contestants brought to tears.
The tough business moguls question the candidates on their business plans and how they would spend the money if Lord Sugar invested £250,000 with them.
The week which has been a regular part of the show over the years is always the most brutal task for the candidates before they head into the final.
Claude Littner, one of Lord Sugar's advisers, made a return to take part in the interview section He disappeared from this year's series of the show after episode one as he recovers from a crash that left him needing nine operations, reports BirminghamLive.
Viewers took to Twitter to praise Claude's return and commented on how well the star looked. Other fans were convinced that they had seen him breaking one of his own rules on the show though.
They messaged him with screenshots that appeared to show him smiling during an interview. Claude has previously insisted that he never smiles at the candidates.
He shared: "The truth is I don't care. I don't mean that in a negative way - I just want to find the best person to work with Alan." After one fan shared a screenshot of Claude appearing to have a faint smile during an interview, Claude replied.
He wrote: "Oh Julie! You know it is fake. I never smile," adding a winking face emoji.
