Classy Jack Butland act after Liam Kelly Rangers Europa League heroics

Jack Butland raced onto the pitch to congratulate Liam Kelly after his Rangers heroics.

The Rangers No1 was dropped to the bench for the Europa League quarter-final first leg tie against Athletic Bilbao.

However, he showed his support for team-mate Kelly in a classy gesture at full-time.

After Kelly produced a moment of magic to save a penalty from Alex Berenguer, Butland celebrated with his team-mate.

The pair could be seen smiling and embracing at full-time after the battling draw at Ibrox.

On starting Kelly and dropping Butland, Barry Ferguson said: "It wasn't a knee-jerk reaction, in terms of making my decision on Saturday night, I thought long and hard about.

"I spoke with Jack, I explained my decisions behind it, he wasn't happy, if I'm being honest with you, but I don't mind that.

"He understood I had to make a decision. I've went with Liam. Since I have come in Liam has trained really well.

"People need to remember, I still believe in Jack, Jack is still a top goalkeeper. I get on really well with him but I have to make decisions."
