A quantity of class A drugs and cash were found after police raided a number of homes in connection with County Lines dealing.
Officers from Merseyside Police and Devon and Cornwall Police raided a number of properties as part of an investigation into County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation. Raids on Thursday, July 6, saw officers recover suspected controlled Class A drugs and a large bag of cash. Seven people in total were arrested.
Three people from Merseyside have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. They are in police custody to be interviewed.

Detective Inspector Gary Stratton from Merseyside Police said: “These arrests are part of ongoing proactive work to ensure we take suspected County line offenders off our streets. We are in the early stages of the investigation, however the seven arrests are in relation to the conspiracy to supply of Class A drugs on the streets of Cornwall.
"The gangs who operate these lines use young and vulnerable people to do their dirty work for them and we need to put a stop to this. Our work to remove these people from our streets and bring them to justice will continue on a daily basis and I would ask anyone who has information about this kind of activity to come forward so action can be taken.”
