Clashes erupted in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night between Israeli police and family members of hostages held in Gaza. According to police reports, two individuals were arrested as protestors pushed against barriers and confronted officers. Two police officers sustained minor injuries during the scuffle.
Police officials have stated that officers are maintaining a presence at the protest sites to ensure security and public order.
Among those injured during the clashes was Natalie Zangauker, the sister of Israeli hostage Matan Zangauker. In a social media video, Natalie's mother can be seen sitting beside her in a hospital room. Earlier footage from the protest depicted Natalie on top of a car, holding images of her missing brother.
In a heartfelt message from the hospital room, Natalie's mother expressed unwavering determination, stating, 'This will not stop her tomorrow from going out to a public area while in pain to shout again, bring back Matan. Bring back the hostages. Stop the war with Hamas. This will not stop Natalie. This will not stop me. This will not stop us.'
